From Malcolm to Macbeth [1998]

The mouse to flay above the hungry cat,
Slur the lines and refute,
Claim your mind is still acute.
Edify your blind students with a cue,
"From me to thee ," said the mentor's sisters.
Beautify those who oppress your enemies,
I'll display that crutch on which you rely,
Watch you pale with dread.

The mouse to flay beneath the colonnade,
Celebrate the fall of our barricade,
This is your day , you think on the sly.
This is the day your foes comply.
This is the court no jury will pry.
Instigate this gray and black punishment,
Testify with your spread of false precedent,
The black jims congratulate you with grins,
Rue the morgue absent of corpses' skins.
Through the palisade you glimpse the creeping,
Your heart the weight of a gnat in your sleeping,
Commemorate this, your day of victory.
The skies dilate and the rain begins,
"From me to thee ," as fate swings her club.
Infer the message she beats into your chest
The stars dilate and the tree trunk spins,
Between a slat and a strip of wood.

The mouse to flay to sate your demons,
Through a dim forest your foes multiply,
Your imprisonment is imminent,
"Calculate your odds", said a friend,
"The motherless babes will signify the end."
Calculate your odd gray and black punishment,
Instigate your pogrom of sly intent.
The spots pervade every censored document,
The shots pervade your bay until you capitulate,
And i'll beautify your head this day in a crate,
And no mourners nor presbyter will congregate,
Over the corpse of the hungry cat.
